Had an LG vx 10 phone which gave me between 1-2 bars, with the new lgvx6100 reception is worse... between zero and one bar

I blew a tire at 12am and attempted to call AAA--I bought my phone ENTIRELY for situations like this (everything else was just a perk) and I discovered I had a complete dead signal. I had to walk 1 1 / 2 blocks in the woods to get 1 bar, which kept fading out if I leaned wrong in any direction. I still think T-Mobile has better business practices and policies than Verizon, but if I have to choose, I have to go with the service that will keep me safe, even if they cheated me once before.

About 4 houses away from mine, I get 1 bar. If I walk about a block and a half away, I get 2-3 bars. In and around my house, nothing. A nice man at the T-Mobile store showed me a close-up coverage chart of just Framingham (something no other provider has been willing to do, no matter who I call or even when I ask for a supervisor), and the color was strong almost everywhere except my tiny block. So you're probably okay in the general area unless you live on Eaton Rd.West or Cynthia.

There is a continuious dead zone going over route 9 on Parker Street. No matter what the condition or the situation the call will be lost. Why doesn't Cingular upgrade the Newton Area?? It's terrible!

No reception in the 363 Middlesex Ave vicinity. Poor reception (1 bar) in about a mile radius in either direction.

Constantly dropped calls on Rt. 125 between Andover St. and Ballardvale St. (closer to Ballardvale) in Wilmington. Also, no service on Rt. 125 between Andover St. and Rt. 28 ramp. (Wilmington / North Andover)

I used to have reception in my house and down my street and Harvard Ave. I now have to either pay roaming charges or stand in one spot in my house and not even change ears or it will hang up! When I caled Sprint they said nothing had changed -- it must be my phone (even though it is less than a year old) and there was nothing they could do. They offered me purchasing another new phone as an option.

Well this single handedly is the crappiest cellular provider out there! I get no reception anywhere... a market place? Hell No! Can this company suck anymore? The service is terrible unless i'm 789675 miles from my house :- / Not to mention if I have a problem I can't go to the store to take care of it?? Ya that's right... got a problem with your cell phone... take care of it yourself we just want your money every month... we could give a crap about you and your cellular problems. Screw Cingular they can go rip off some other sucker who think a GSM network is a good bargain. I'm goin to Verizon they have good CS and are alot better with reception and plans :-)

I occasionally get a little reception outdoors-inside a store, nothing.

I either have no service or roaming with analog and one bar. I can't wait for a new VZ tower in Great Barrington! I feel like I am wasting my money since I can hardly ever get reception!
