I would not suggest Sprint to anyone living in the Linden or the Byron area. Reception is spotty in South East Michigan, and is only good in the Detroit area.

I hate Verizon Wireless. Dropped calls all over the State. Especially on the west side of the state. I had Nextel for years, and never had trouble like this. Verizon please add more towers.

I have dropped calls every time I try, even when I stand on my balcony. It'll show three bars but still drop calls. I've complained and sent the phone in for repairs, no luck. I tried Verizon as well, no good here either.

Sometimes going outside and holding the phone just so while standing in a certain place will get one bar... ... . and a worse than terrible connection.

I love the iPhone but it does not work in my house or outside my house. I had Verizon for years and never dropped a call. Now with AT&T and the iPhone, I have been told to go outside, away form trees... .it is ridiculous! We bought 2 iPhones and worked with AT&T for 6 weeks trying to get them to work before they said yesterday that they are never going to work where I live and that we should have been told the service would be "iffy". Now they tell me... after I can no longer return our iphones. I thought if we were working with them they would make an exception. I was wrong.

Sure am glad I spent all that $ on my iPhone! I have ONE bar in the parking lot of my apt. and "No Service" reads on the display as soon as I walk into my apartment. I now have a $500 piece of junk with no reception and an $80+ wireless phone bill every month! Lucky... ..lucky me.

For three years, I've asked about service to this area. I was told it depends on population density, demands and federal laws. It now boils down to federal regulation is the evil one saying that carriers can't overlap services without being fined. I say find a place to put up a tower that doesn't overlap services and give us cell phone service. The money is there. CellularOne ripped me off at tune of $60 a month. As soon as my contract expires, I'll go back to Thumb Cellular or try Nextel. Thumber Cellular coverage in this area is excellent since the Mayville tower has been put up. Thumb Cellular had poor service to this area before the Mayville tower. I left them because their roaming charges were very high. Maybe that has changed, if not, then I'll try Nextel which I know does work in this area atleast sometimes. AT&T has bought out CellularOne, checking the map placement of towers in this area, AT&T will not make any improvements in services to us. They got my money and don't want to spend it on me or you in this area.

Phone works if you go 1 / 2 Mile South or North on Adams Road. Tried 3 Watt Amplifier and External Antennae, no difference. Would be nice if Consumers Power would let someone place an antennae on their tower on Cassidy Road! This is a huge tower with only one antennae on it!
