Virgin Mobile (which uses the Sprint network) has very poor coverage all around Berrien springs and Eau Claire. Benton Harbor has good signal, until you go into any building, then it drops down from 4 bars to none. Naomi Rd has some signal, but not as you near M-140. Downtown Eau Claire has no service at all, and Berrien Springs has very limited service.

I get no reception or lowest reception along the 6 - 7 Mile rds going east to West

Reception is crazy in this part of Newport. When I let my phone sit in place for a few minutes, I can usually pick up a bar or two, but when I start moving around with it talking, my signal diminishes down to nothing. It's so frustrating! When you're in Monroe, however, you get a perfect five bars. I don't recommend Cingular for people who live in Stoney Point / Point Aux Peaux Farms. I hear T-Mobile gets around three or four bars, though - so I think I might be switching sometime soon!

Can you hear me now???? Not if you have Verizon as your carrier and you are traveling in northern Michigan! We camp during the summer months in many areas of northen Michigan and our Verizon service was non-existant. When we called Verizon, they said we needed to call them from our cell phone and let them know when we were not getting service... HELLO! No service! How can I call you??! The customer service rep didn't have an answer for that, so not only are their phones and service crappy, their customer service people are morons.

My parents live in Baldwin now and when I go to visit them I have no reception whatsoever.

never have any reception at this location. We get occasional reception from Canada (Rogers). Of course this is not a tower we can use.

I get no reception at my house. I get barely any reception in my yard. I go to the Grist station and I have no service. Piece of crap. I had other models from my employer as well. Some of the new camera phones. Same thing. I would not recommend it to anyone in Cannonsburg area.

I find it interesting that there are MANY Nextel stores to sell you phones but there is virtually no coverage area! Most of the time my phone says "No Service" and just does not work. When you call Nextel, they will tell you that you must bring your phone in for service. They do not tell you that they may charge you for this service. Also, they finally check your phone and tell you that it is fine, and you are back to square one again. You pay a big bill for service, but cannot use the phone.
