Terrible reception from T-Mobile in my new area in Howell---basically non-existent reception. Every time I actually receive a call, I have to move far outside my home---I will change networks in the next few days---I can't accept this sort of service.

I drop at least 10 calls a day. My calls go straight to voice mail, I am not happy with my service. There is always the constant beeping on my phone telling me that I am going in and out of service. Phone does not work in my house. Rarely works anywhere. low battery life if you text alot too.

Travelling west on 10 Mile Rd.. Nextel drops my call just past Southfield Rd. every single time. It is extremely annoying!

It seems as though every time I drive through the 45-mph zone on Grand River just off Alden Nash, I get no reception. I can't call out and more importanly, I can't receive calls - if someone calls me while in that area, it goes straight to voice mail. Once I'm past the 45-mph zone, the phone beeps to let me know I have a message. Why does this occur? Everyplace else I get great reception!

I received absolutely no native Sprint signal in and around the Grand Haven State Park.

The service is very spotty and dropped calls a big issue. I am very disappointed with the coverage, based on all the promises I received from their sales rep.

We can see a tower, but it's a State tower. Can't get reception for about 5 miles around.

Over three weeks ago I stopped getting service in my home and have been contacting Cingular regularly and their answer is they are integrating the tower in my area. I have used AT&T for about 5 years now all of a sudden no service. One of my calls to them got a sales pitch to "upgrade to Cingular" of course when I asked them if I kept my 800 minutes that I have accumulated over the years their answer was NO I would have to sign a NEW contract, more money less minutes! So as far as I am concerned this is a scam to make former AT&T customers pay for the upgrades (?) to the towers. When my daughter, who has Cingular, comes to the house guess what --her phone doesn't work either. I have filed a complaint with the FCC and also joined a class action law suit through "Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights". I am in Clay Township and have to go about a mile to get service--maybe. Thanks, Don

When changing my service from AT&T to Cingular,I bought a 3rd phone for my son who lives in the Mass City area of the UP, as part of the 'family plan'. What a mistake! He hasn't found any area in HIS area where he can get reception. I specifically asked if there would be Cingular service in the UP. They assured me there was service. Well, they lied!

Update! (See next comment down) Went to Verizon... they updated my Phone with new firmware. Took nearly an hour... .. no improvement.
