Very seldomly can I recieve or make a call at my business in this area. Nextel says they are going to improve the reception in this area. They have said this for 18 months. I am dropping Nextel and am going to research who has service on the tower less than one mile from my home. These jokers will tell you anything to keep you paying their salaries. My minimum monthly service charge is $165 for my 3 Nextel business phones and can't even use them at the business.

Always no reception in this area, changed plan and got new phones and exactly the same. Calls anywhere north of M59 last about 30 seconds’ tops. They pulled the old sim card out of the old phone, maybe the reason why... Gong back to Cingular to make them replace the sim cards with new ones. Also had billing problem for 14 months, Cingular added $7 a month to my bill for a 7 / 7 plan? Two extra hours in the evening unlimited. Well we caught the error, spent 3 hours debating the problem. First rep. only offered a $60 credit, called back and argued with another rep for an hour. Results $168 removed from my bill, next 2 months 1 / 2 off. DON'T settle for one reps B / S. If you unsatisfied call back and demand satisfaction. If you're firm and ask what’s Cingular going to do for me now, they'll give in.

Good signal until 5 miles from I-75 on 612. No reception at all east of that point.

I have had AT&T for 7 years, switched to GSM America last year thinking its a better service than TDMA. I am still waiting if Cingular acquisition will allow me to receive calls and in vain. Anyone in this area, PLS be advised.

dropped calls or no reception at all in Troy, MI; Bloomfield, MI; Clawson, MI; Royal Oak, MI--AT&T won't do anything to help and refuses to waive termination fee.

I am a sales rep. and thiis area sucks for everyone of the carriers that I have used. T-Mobile has been the worst so far. Sprint was bad as well, AT&T was a little better (not much), Alltel has been the best and thats not saying much. Nextel would be ideal for the industy that I service but is scetchy in BFE areas of Michigan. Verison is next on my list I will update later, E
