I was expecting an extremely important phone call for a phone interview that I was doing. I usually have at least 3 bars outside, and 2 inside, but there was suddenly no reception. I could not receive incoming calls or make outgoing calls. It was not located to that area alone, but remained that way the entire way home for the next 2 hours (at least). The situation is still the same now. I have been a Verizon customer for 6 years now, but will be switching when my contract ends, as I cannot rely on their coverage at crucial times.

Despite calling *228 to update roaming capabilities before leaving my Milford home to go up north, none of the 20 some people who I vacation with has cell phone coverage on Lake Leelanau, where our cottage is. Many of us don't get reception until we are near Suttons Bay but it is spotty from about Clare northward. That Verizon's motto is "can you hear me now? " is ironic. No coverage has been the standard since the inception of cell phones. Nice "bait", nothing on the line for Verizon ! Spoke with rep's many times, all they can say is, 'yep, you don't have coverage'. My issue is that we pay for coverage and don't get coverage... for weeks at a time.

I had major Recepion problems in my home as I could only make calls standing outside getting 2 bars was good. Inside my house I was getting no bars. I went to the Sprint store 3 times complaning about this problem. They finally hooked me up with a internal antenta that hooks up to my internet using a wireless router and now I get 5-6 bars inside my home. I can't say that I was happy about having to use this method but at least it now works. I also can't say I was happy about dealing with the people at the Sprint store. (White Lake on M-59) since they gave me quite a hard time before I could get the antenta and then get it hooked up.

live in rual area with woods around. no reception in house and very little outside, help!

Feels like Im on the moon. We have a problem. Who has a phone that works if there is trouble? I travel alone and dont have service unless Im able to drive all the way to Gladwin. Have to come up with something better folks, in the mean, Im investing in a mega phone.

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? Never DO YOU RECEIVE VOICEMAIL? Eventually CAN YOU GIVE OR RECEIVE TEXT? Sometimes Sprint reception was poor all along in this area, but in the past year, it is virtually non-existent. I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with my lack of reception and MAYBE, on a very clear day, I'll see 1 / 2 bar! NOT GOOD SPRINT!

In the 3+ years I've lived here I have not been able to talk on my cellphone while I'm home due to lack of bars. Sprint does not seem to cover this immediate area. When retrieving VM, the call continually drops. Text messages will work at times, but I often have to resend them 3 or 4 times to get them to go through. If I drive approx. a 1 / 2 mile to a mile away I can properly use my phone. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SPRINT! When contract is up I'll use another provider.

Sprint is completely useless in this location. I cannot speak with anyone. Can barely retrieve my voicemail. Only occasionally am able to text message. I received a text message 3 DAYS AFTER it was sent to me! Why can't Sprint manage to cover this area? A half mile away I can get a couple of bars. A mile and a half away I get all bars! What is the problem with this area? USELESS... ... ... ... ... ...

Could make calls, but you could not talk to anyone. Voice would constantly break up. No bars untill you get two blocks from home.

I hate this service! I get no bars on any of our phones in the house at all it drops calls left and right. My husband can go outside and talk ob his for a few mintues before he loses signal or the call ends (doent always say call dropped or lost, just hangs up ) They sent me a rave that I had to hook to my internet broadband so I get full bars in the house now but still quality of phone reception is still horrible. I still have problems with my phone (i like to talk more versues just texting) with receiving calls it goes straight to my voice mail, and if I leave my home forget it the bars are gone. I drop calls in town in jonesville, in walmart parking lot I have to try three times before I can get a call to connect. Customer service at this place has been a joke. I actually have filed a complaint with the BBB. I pay almost 200.00 a month and I have had enough, been told they are working on fixing the problem for months. I was just talking to another Sprint customer and wow guess what we are disconnected... with the rave at my house and her in jonesville in town..
