Phone is constantly in Analog mode and by the time I leave the building my battery is almost dead. Not sure if it's the area, phone or battery. No where in the building does the phone work. Works great in the parking lot.

I had this service before moving out here recently, but before purchasing I asked to make sure service was good in this area. I was asured it was, and would not have any problems. Boy, they were so wrong... . I never have service. But when I do, Its way out of the cities limit. I will never get Nextell again.

Nextel is the worst mobile phone service on the planet. No service in most of the Grosse Pointe area, like the Village. And now that Nextel has merged with Sprint, the only thing they can offer me is to switch to Sprint, but first -- you have to buy a new phone, or if you want one for free -- you have to start a new 2-yr agreement! Is that a scam or what?

I purchased an upgraded phone in the hopes that I'd get reception at home - no luck. I get no reception at all at this location. I'd recommend another carrier than Cingular if you live in the outskirts of Dexter.

How the phone company can get away with charging consumers for non delivery of service continues to boggle my mind. Verizon Wireless absolutely stinks in this area. They sold me an upgrade phone that doesn't do anything more than the one that came with the plan. The service flops into voicemail with messages getting posted 3 days after the call. Reception is slim to nonexistent. Consider yourself forwarned if you are in this area regarding Verizon. I would love to see the government come down on this utility for scamming the public.

Are they planning on putting a service on the Nextel tower there?

This location I get no reception, otherwise, I generally always get great reception.

The phone works ok large city areas other then having a bad echo 50% of the time. When traveling through the state it doesn't work in so many areas. I asked the Nextel dealer in the dead areas who tried to sell me a $220. dollar antenna for my vehicle.

This is our home. There is almost never any signal here, and when there is, we can never connect. Didn't purchase the phones for home use, but was promised there would be reception here. There is a new tower just north of us, unfortunately it is Nextel and were are locked in for almost two more years... ... ... ..
