I think trout creek area will be without service forever... There isn't a cell phone made (except bag phones and using an antenna) that will get service here. 8-10 miles away it starts to be 1-2 bars and in bruce crossing 10 miles away calls can be made decent 2-4 bars.

I drove four miles north of this location before I could get any reception, but that was not enough to make a call. Another three miles and I could get a scratchy call. I know there is not much there, but it is a growing area.

Better hang up any call if driving as it will drop with 99.9% certainty. Does not matter what kind of phone, it you are in a car, walking or on a bike.
Tested two phones from friends (one being iphone) to see if it was worth switching to AT&T. Nope - rarely had a signal and often couldn't get one outside. Inside just made it worse. I'm only two miles from Toledo!
can't understand how internet and home phone service is available and there is no cell phone reception. I am paying for no service and cannot seem to be able to get any answers.

So I had Verizon for about 3 years and I barely had 1 bar. So I switched to AT&T to get onto my brothers plan but this time around I get absolutely nothing. I am so frustrated because I shouldn't have to pay for something I can't even use in my own home. What can I do to get better service with AT&T?
