You can MAYBE get one bar, if you stand out in the middle of US 12, and you'll get a dropped call nearly 90% of the time. I have to drive roughly 5 miles, nearly to Buchanan, to even get one bar. Texts will sometimes go through, but that's a 50 / 50 chance, and calls are slim to none.

Our cottage has no reception from AT&T however my Wife's phone service is Verizon which has good reception in this area. AT and T must get with it as many of the neighbors are switching to other carriers.
On a really crappy day weatherwise, rain and clouds got the best reception on the shores of Lake Michigan I have ever had, now with sun, picking up cell tower in Wisconsin (time on phone is Wisconsin time) even though cell tower on M-31 about seven miles away. Can't send or receive calls, text, etc. Very disappointing was hoping merger with Alltel would improve reception for Verizon here "up north".
