All of Calvin Centre Township is a black hole for cell phone reception with Nextel / Sprint. -- My cousin has Verizon and she can get calls and make calls with no problem. Also other family members have US Celluar and seem to have no problem.

The only phones that work in the area are Nextel. This is because the Fermi plant has a tower. I've tried an active cell phone repeater - no luck. There is just no signal.

I just bought this service today and found out when I got it home there is zero signal in my apartment. None, not even if I stand by an open window. Part of the problem is the direction my building faces, but still I'm absolutely fuming right now.
Not only can't I get reception on my Sprint PCS network, I can't even get anything when I switch over to roaming. Sprint's map of the Cassopolis, MI area indicates that they have excellent coverage there. But, we all know how those maps lie. I wish Sprint would do something positive and become number 1 again. Lord knows we all pay them enough every month.

Bought new phones in Jan. 2009 hoping to improve our chances of the phones working. They still do not get any coverage. Come on Verizon lets get with it! I am up there hunting on my property, I need to be able to call home. I don't have power on the property, and have to use generators. I had Onstar, but it was too expensive. Half the time it didn't work. Is there anything else I can do?
No reception what so ever in my house, if I step outside I may get a bar. Searching for signal always. SWITCHING TO SPRINT because their phones get great reception in my home.
I have no bars at my home or at my college (MSU). I am glad that Customer Service was good and allow me to cancel the contract without any charge (That's what they promise). Don't use T-Mobile here. It is pathetic and also WIFI at home won't work with MSU wireless connection for some reason.
