There is no Nextel reception in Fairview. I live in Alger and travel to Alpena once in a while. When I get north of Rose City on M-33 I lose my Nextel signal, and don't get it back until I hit the intersection of M-33 and M-32. There is a Nextel tower in Atlanta, Hillman and Johannesburg. There is also one by the intersection of M-32 and M-65 so you will get coverage there. If you are looking to stay towards Curran, Fairview or Mio, look at Alltel.

Can't get any reception in my apartment. Even outside, calls drop and rarely are received due to a very poor signal. This area seems to be a black hole for reception as my girlfriend's Nextel also sucks on reception. I thought AT&T plus Cingular would equal more towers, but apparently not.

Have had Cingular for 2 years up here with perfect reception. Used phone constantly. Our only phone. As of this weekend cingular / att says there has never been reception in this area. couldn't get refund on rest of contract but definitely would not recommend doing business with ATT ever... ... There was no explanation as to why we had reception until Friday. They just didn't know.

Most of the time we can not get calls on these as soon as you get a call it get's dropped. No towers in this area for hardly any cell phone companies.

We had 2 to 3 bar reception until May 1 then we got no reception. We called 3 times and got 2 promises for for call backs which never happened. Very poor customer service, they do not meet what they advertise on the web site

We pay $80 / mo for no reception in our new location and have 3200 rollover min. each. We can't get the contract nullified even though we have no reception.

I have had T-Mobile for over a year and no service at my house.I can go on top of my house and have 5 bars but nothing in my house or on the ground.So I came here to find what phone I should replace it with.

We were told we were that our house was on the fringe of reception; however, I have no reception in any direction for at least 15 miles. That is more than fringe. We were on the fringe with Nextel and that means walking a few yards outside the door of my house. I am angry at the waste of money for this useless phone. What can be done about it?
