The hill in Winton is between me and Ely and it makes for a very effective cell signal shadow so my phone doesn't work at all at home. I used to get a maximum signal if I went to the other side of the hill, but now I only get an average 3 bar signal at best. And when I'm driving around various places I'm often getting signal strengths 2 or 3 bars lower than I used to get, so the Sprint signal seems to have deteriorated over the past month or two.
Very poor reception in this area. EV is 1 or 2 bars (out of 4). 1X (voice) is zero to 1 bar and calls drop or are choppy when they stay connected. Verizon knows about this area and are supposedly looking for a new tower site according to tech support. I hope its soon.
very poor reception in house, 0 - 2 bars, ( 0 most often). dropped calls all the time, incoming calls go to voice mail to be picked up when I leave this area of NE Minneapolis. Spotty reception all around here.
I had between 3 and 4 bars with Unicel. With Verizon Wireless it is 0 to 1 bars, mostly 0. When is Verizon planning on upgrading equipment and coverage for our area? This makes using this service for work impossible!
