Usually no reception at all. Occasionally shows one bar, but not reliable enough to actually complete a call. I wish the reception was better - I would give up the land-line phone at the cabin.

After I had my Cingular phone for a while the reception started disinigrating from bad to worse..being that eventually I could only use it for 911 service. I could not get service in St. Paul or Minneapolis or any of the suburbs. I also know someone who has Cingular and her phone never rings... the calls always go directly to voice mail. Complaining to Cingular doesn't do any good, they don't care.

No reception for T-Mobile at all in Mn Lake, all the way to Wells, MN.

Low reception on the outskirts of town. Absolutely no reception in town.

Near NW border of Minneapolis proper, very poor or nonexistant Nextel coverage. Problem has been on and off since last year.

BEWARE if you want to use SPRINT PCS at UMD - it won't work in the Library and in most buildings. You have to go outside. I can't make ar receive any calls unless outside, and even then, it's iffy. I tried several phones, none worked. They work great anywhere but UMD. They said they wre going to put up a tower near Mt. Royal, but it was in the paperwork stage (that was 6 months ago, still no change).

Cingular just dropped a contract with a partner tower, I found this out after two weeks of trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone! I had just switched to the family plan in October and they tell me, they don't guarentee coverage. Now I'm locked into a 2 year plan with no reception!

On Washington Ave S just north of Valley View I had no reception with Sprint if I was inside a building. People with T Mobile have had the same complaint. Only Cingular and Verizon work here.

If I actually get service, it usually cuts out within a minute. No service ever indoors.
