Can't make or receive calls in my house. Sometimes works in yard. I get a more reliable data signal. Used to have T-Mobile which worked great here.

Reception was Fantastic everywhere when it was Midwest Wireless, dropped drastically when sold to Alltel, even worse after sale to Verizon. In the last 2 months Verizon has gotten even worse. Signal fades in and out of 1 bar at my house, where it used to be great. Customer service are barely literate. Simple English confuses them. Their policies on "eligibility" to purchase new phones are ludicrous. To buy a new phone before your 2 year contract ends, you must first buy out the remainder of your contract! They are nothing short of thieves!

Verizon is terrible in Northern Minnesota. AT+T is adding new super tall cell phone towers. Time to switch carriers.

I have my phone service through Consumer Cellular. They told me they use AT&T towers. Unfortunately, there is no tower near enough to give me any service when I am at home. Very disappointing! Will there ever be a tower close enough?

Midwest wireless had the best reception..Then they were bought out by Alltel. the service and reception went down and then Verizon bought Alltel in our area and the service dropped to zilch! The very sad part of the story is that I have called numerous times and they do not care about us people that live in SW MN and NW IA..Wow.. But I am sure they would truly care if our pmt was late! Argh so frustrated!

Alltel service was fine. AT&T took over and I have no service, but they still charge me. Don't go with AT&T.

Bought new Iphones and paid extra for data coverage while in Canada to check weather and do flight planning. We are just north of Fort Frances and could not get reception at the cabin. A few times we were able to access the Internet while ON the lake. Last year we were able to send / receive text msgs at the cabin, this year... nothing. One person with Sprint was able to send and receive text msgs.

I have had Verizon for 8 years now. And the last year and a half have been hell. Started a buiness in a one level building. Service was fine at the time. Had a Blackberry Storm. Then all of a sudden I would have a voicemail and my phone never rang. Messages wouldn't send or all of a sudden I would get 5 messages. I use my cell phone as my primary line. Put up with it for a few months before I could upgrade. Then got the Samsung Fascinate. No problems what so ever! Loved the phone... about a month ago... .It ALL started again. Customer Service sucks. Been over everything 500 times. Oh..if I wanted to, I could buy a $250 service extender... um... ..This is your issue. Not mine. My clients have Verizon who sit in my chair and have no issues. My Co-worker 5 feet from me has Verizon and has NO issues. WTF?! I'm so over it I dont even know what to do anymore. HELP!

0 bars inside my house (conventional wood frame.) 1 bar in the front yard -- barely usable there, not usable at all inside. From the tower map it looks like we are in the very middle of the nearest four towers, but also in somewhat of a valley surrounded by lots of trees. I tried using a Verizon Network Extender and couldn't get a GPS lock, so that didn't help.
