Oak Grove Through Burns Township on CR22, Anoka, MN 55303 Tue Apr 01, 2008

I have T-Mobile and travel through the Oak Grove and Burns Township area and the reception sucks plus if theres reception it will be all garbaled and staticy. I have talked to many people in the area and get the same response from them. They used to have T-Mobile had Nextel up until this year they said Nextel used to be good but has been getting worse and is now bad for reception. these people now use Verizon and get a full signal everywhere so I tried Verizon and just like they said it got full signal everywhere. I researched it a bit and found Verizon has been upgrading their towers and just started in January of 2008. so I switched to Verizon and couldn't be happier. If you read any comments about Verizon that say they have bad coverage disregard them because they are children that don't know you are supposed to dial *228 every month to update the tower lists. Good Luck!

Lax Lake Rd. / Tettegouche State Park intersection, Silver Bay, MN 55614 Wed Jan 23, 2008

I would love to see a tower in the Finland Area that allows locals to get some reception in the valleys. There are many hills and people willing. Verizon needs to help us out. Frustrated that Hwy. 61 and Silver Bay gets upgrades but anyone living inland does not.

Cedar, Northfield, Northfield, MN 55057 Wed Jan 16, 2008

We can't get reception in our house. Dropped calls, and if we call each other it goes to voicemail while we are looking at each other's phones. Reception wasn't good with Midwest Wireless, but it's not working at all with Alltel. North of Northfield. Reception runs out right as you leave town on Hwy3, for example. You'd think we were miles from a metro area, but NO, we're just outside the metro.

County Rd.5 and 1 Cushing To Pillager, Cushing, MN 56443 Thu Oct 11, 2007

Got a cell to use at home for long distance. Total dead zone in and out of house except in summer can stand by light pole and get two bars on ocassion. As for traveling to brainerd by county road 5 and 1... Forget it... you'll have to walk to someones house to use their land phone for help. From pillager to brainerd reception is patchy closer to pillager but does improve closer to brainerd. Sprint stinks for us!

Our reception dies at our driveway. We just updated phones and were told that we are approaching a "fringe area". Anybody know which phone has the best reception potential.
