There is a HUGE black hole from Olivia till just outside of Watertown that makes me think... "tell me why I have this company 'serving' me???" Driving on that hwy with small children, I just pray that my car mever breaks down or I have an emergency!

Absolutely horrible reception where I live. I just moved 9 months ago only three miles from my previous location and my reception has turned into crap. It was decent three miles away, but now I have to sit at the end of my bed, upstairs to even receive a phone call and talk. Anywhere else in the house shows no bars at all. And even when I'm outside, the reception is horrible. Have been with Sprint for 8 years and am cancelling when my contract is up.

We used Verizon for years in Uptown Mpls. with great results--four or five bars all the time and rarely did we have a dropped call. Now that we've moved to Longfellow we can't make calls from home or, for that matter, anywhere within a 1 / 2 mile range from our house. After trying to convince us that the problem is with our phones (which are six months old) we finally had a manager at Verizon tell us this is a "known issue" and that they plan to install a new tower to serve this neighborhood "sometime within the next two years." In the meantime I think we'll be forced to get a landline or, perhaps, tying coffee cans together with string, which would provide better reception than we receive from Verizon.

My phone works in Fargo but is terrible from Harwood north. Georgetown has a new tower, and it has Verizon equipment, but can not activate it until Verizon oks it.
