Samsung Fascinate
France / 70th intersection, Minneapolis, MN 55435 Sun Jul 03, 2011

I have had Verizon for 8 years now. And the last year and a half have been hell. Started a buiness in a one level building. Service was fine at the time. Had a Blackberry Storm. Then all of a sudden I would have a voicemail and my phone never rang. Messages wouldn't send or all of a sudden I would get 5 messages. I use my cell phone as my primary line. Put up with it for a few months before I could upgrade. Then got the Samsung Fascinate. No problems what so ever! Loved the phone... about a month ago... .It ALL started again. Customer Service sucks. Been over everything 500 times. Oh..if I wanted to, I could buy a $250 service extender... um... ..This is your issue. Not mine. My clients have Verizon who sit in my chair and have no issues. My Co-worker 5 feet from me has Verizon and has NO issues. WTF?! I'm so over it I dont even know what to do anymore. HELP!

There has always been a 1 / 2 mile oval in Edina MN with little or no 1900mhz service so Sprint, Verizon, etc don't work. 800mhz T-Mobile works but doesn't have data / pict features. Even analog is poor or non-existant. Right in an area of 100's of multi-million $ homes in middle of highly served metro area. WHY??

No reception; a year of promises from AT&T Wireless and now Cingular Wireless, but my phone will not ring or hold a randomly available meagre signal long enough to place a call; callers to me get clicks, one in three times they get my voicemail box; voicemail notification does not work; phone does not ring; cannot make calls; tried new phones (tri-band LG and Samsung); no better; why pay $100 a month for a product that does not work; hours and hours on the phone with customer support; NO HELP; Cingular is AWFUL, snake-oil; paid the $200 to get out of contract.

Woodbury Near Water Tower, Minneapolis, MN 55445 Sun Jun 22, 2008

Tried new Iphone (switched from Verizon to ATT) the day iphone came out... had two dropped calls that day. never had dropped calls with Verizon in 8 years. had to switch back to verizon. I REALLY want the Iphone, but ATT has such spotty cell service TOO BAD ATT - you really need to follow through with your "more bars" ads and put up more towers!

Absolutely horrible reception where I live. I just moved 9 months ago only three miles from my previous location and my reception has turned into crap. It was decent three miles away, but now I have to sit at the end of my bed, upstairs to even receive a phone call and talk. Anywhere else in the house shows no bars at all. And even when I'm outside, the reception is horrible. Have been with Sprint for 8 years and am cancelling when my contract is up.

County Rd.2 / Hwy. 44 intersection, Brimson, MN 55602 Sat Feb 24, 2007

There is no reception on County Hwy. 2 starting 7 miles north of Two Harbors. You can get 1 or 2 bars on the highway, but as soon as you turn off the road, there is no reception. This lack of reception continues all the way into Brimson, Fairbanks, and Toimi. This large dead zone has been dubbed 'The Brimson Triangle.' Once you get off highway 61 in Two Harbors or Duluth, the general rule is that if you can't see Lake Superior, you probably can't use your phone. Why is it the tourists in the Boundary Waters have cell service, but the tax paying residents of large portions of Northern Minnesota do not?

There used to be service in the area when analog phone and towers were still prevelent. I know for at least the last 6-8 years there has been no service for any phone that has been in the area. If anyone has anything they use to get reception, I would love to hear about it.

Lax Lake Rd. / Tettegouche State Park intersection, Silver Bay, MN 55614 Wed Jan 23, 2008

I would love to see a tower in the Finland Area that allows locals to get some reception in the valleys. There are many hills and people willing. Verizon needs to help us out. Frustrated that Hwy. 61 and Silver Bay gets upgrades but anyone living inland does not.
