when Cingular was my carrier, the phone worked in my area, however, when AT&T took over I can't use my phone at my residence. This has been brought to their attention several times with their excuse of "there are trees around the tower". Trees have always been there. I am 2 miles from the Interstate. Trust me, no one at ATT cares!

We need a tower close to us. There are a lot of on our Rd.that cannot get reception. The Antioch Baptist Church is nearby and you cannot get reption there. We have tried various phones and friends and relatives have tried phones, but we are in a dead zone. We have land and are willing to put a tower on our land if you need a place to put a tower.
Why isn't cellular south listed in the carriers? They are the only carrier that covers our state. My daughter switched and we all fight over her phone. ATT doesn't care much about our state and it shows. My daughter travels nationwide and has had great service with Mississippi's very own cellular south. I'm switching as soon as my contract is out.
They have to be the worst carrier in the USA. They have more dead spots than anyone. Always have to borrow a phone. Am changing to cellular south ASAP!
Hwy. 371 / Hwy. 363 intersection, Mantachie, MS 38855

Have a Samsung Blackjack. It gets terrible reception when leaving Mantachie, I have no service until I reach Hwy. 78. AT&T seems to be falling behind with towers and inproving their tower grid. Please don't leave use hanging. I drop calls all the time.

I have T-Mobile, but at most I get 1 bar by the Interstate, but around Grenada, I get Zero bars. I've had T-Mobile for 2 years and I'm ready to change carrier, because I have the same problems in other areas. It is very frustrating when I have to spend 2-3 weeks in one area, without mobile phone service.

I have no reception what-so-ever. I truly think it's ridiculous. In other areas in town I will have enough service to call but soon lose the service which makes my call drop.
Tanner Williams / Tanner Williams Rd. intersection, Lucedale, MS 39452

Tanner Williams is just 4 miles from the MS state line. 17 miles from populated West Mobile. Service in MS is poor until you reach Hurley (14 miles west of the state line.)
I just returned from a business trip to Jackson and Forest, Mississippi. Cricket's coverage maps indicate that the entire state falls within Cricket's "Nationwide Roaming" area. However, contrary to this, I had no reception whatsoever while in Mississippi or while in flight over most of Louisianna. While Cricket provides virtually all of the commonly desired cell phone amenities for a very reasonable price, it is not a suitable carrier for those needing reliable service while travelling. They current "coverage map" is patently false, as all attempts to determine Coverage by City or Zip Code result in Memphis, TN being the nearest coverage city.
