terrible receotion and 9 people in less than 2 miles from this area all have At&T. I have 20 acres and would be interested in letting AT&T erect a tower as we are half way between Richland MO and Stoutland MO. One person bought land, built a house and moved in then found out that there was no cell phone service and he was on call 24, 7. Had to change jobs, one that didnot require cell phone. If intrested feel free to call 573-765-5470 Sincerely Lloyd E. Smith

Sprint not only has many areas north of the river in Kansas City that lack coverage but it's customer service is pitiful (see below). Don't even think about using the phone inside your home. You will lose the call within a minute of connection. Other problems are that most of the time when someone calls you, the phone will never ring and the call will show that it was "missed". Voicemails will be mysteriously "dropped" for no apparent reason so you will miss important calls. In addition, don't count on using the website to look at your bill. Half of the time the website doesn't work or is so slow your browser will lose the connection (this is on a high speed broadband connection, by the way). To top it off, they frequently screw up and / or just render your username and password useless on line so if you are "paperless" you may not see your bill for over a week at a time. The website will direct you to call a number at which customer service will cut you off and not be able to help you restore your username or password anyway. If you cave and decide you HAVE to have Sprint, then whatever you do, don't go paperless. Demand that they send your bill every month. Also check the bill very closely because there are often calls you are charged for that you have not made.
I was with us cellular and was upset that I would drop calls in new berlin, Now I am with AT&T and I drop every single call I make no matter where I am at and I live two blocks from one of there towers, Iphone is awesome AT&T not so much.
I joined on a family plan with my sister and they said we would get reception. We don't have any bars until we are almost back into Columbia. When I called the company to ask about this they said if I just go 2 miles to the East I would have full bars, my reply "I don't live 2 miles to the East." I don't recommend this company to anyone North of Columbia until they get more towers.
