Sprint not only has many areas north of the river in Kansas City that lack coverage but it's customer service is pitiful (see below). Don't even think about using the phone inside your home. You will lose the call within a minute of connection. Other problems are that most of the time when someone calls you, the phone will never ring and the call will show that it was "missed". Voicemails will be mysteriously "dropped" for no apparent reason so you will miss important calls. In addition, don't count on using the website to look at your bill. Half of the time the website doesn't work or is so slow your browser will lose the connection (this is on a high speed broadband connection, by the way). To top it off, they frequently screw up and / or just render your username and password useless on line so if you are "paperless" you may not see your bill for over a week at a time. The website will direct you to call a number at which customer service will cut you off and not be able to help you restore your username or password anyway. If you cave and decide you HAVE to have Sprint, then whatever you do, don't go paperless. Demand that they send your bill every month. Also check the bill very closely because there are often calls you are charged for that you have not made.

We just moved into a house a block off this intersection and apparently there is "fair" signal stength here... which means if you want to use your cell phone as a house phone your out of luck. The phone can be sitting on our kitchen table and keep beeping due to loss of signal. After wasting a few hours of my life explaining this to over a dozen people claiming to work in Nextel customer care, I was finally told that the only way to terminate service early and avoid a fee was to have a 5% or more dropped call ratio. I had only made it to 4.1%. They actually wanted to give me more useless minutes.

Walk into store past customer service desk, there is no service in this Home Depot location on Cingular. Fortunately I have a Gait phone on Nation Plan and it kicks over to T-Mobile and I do get reception on that network. Prior to my Gait phone, my phone would be "no service". Cingular needs a cell site nearby.

WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I "upgraded" phones and in exchange for a $150 rebate that never came am stuck with the "hometown carrier" for 2 more years. I spent hours on the phone with worthless representatives trying to explian that I was owed money only to find out it was their fault the rebate was never issued... they offered me a $5 discount on my next monthes bill then tried to sell me another line of service... no wonder you are losing money.

Very rarely does phone have service from intersection of Maxwell Rd.to Highland Ave. This is an ongoing problem for appx 3 years. Numerous call to T Mobile result in NO improvement. Have been told everything from "this is in our top coverage area per our map" to " engineering is aware of the problem and it will be corrected when 3G is updated". While in my office on St. Joseph Ave my company issued cell works fine (ATT), while my personal cell does not work at all. I have been a T Mobile customer since 2002, but next renew that will change if this issue is not resolved.
