I am visiting Lincoln for two weeks and have had no service anyplace in the city. If you want cell phone service in this city, don't use T-Mobile or you will be sorry.

Extremely bad service. In the northern part of Lincoln someone will hardly get signal. Moreover, they don't provide 402 no. It is really bad.

I live in Austin, TX but travel to Lincoln occasionally. Normally I can get 2G around town, indoors sometimes, but usually G. I can live with that. This time I'm getting no signal or very low G in places that I have received a signal in the past. What the heck is going on? Has T-Mobile pulled out of Lincoln, NE completely? Or has AT&T already gobbled them up? I didn't mind the 2G, or the G, since I still was able to make calls. I'm highly upset by this turn of events.

I agree that AT&T has a serious DEAD ZONE in SE Nebraska in general. I moved to Lincoln from NE Kansas, and haven't been able to use my phone with AT&T service at ALL! I changed to Verizon and had much better reception, but have heard that Sprint is the way to go in my area. I will check back with what I discover!

AT&T partners with Verizon in this area. I have to say that Verizon is not doing a great job of handling roaming partners on their network. I have talked to people in the area, and they say that US Cellular does the best for coverage in the Duncan, NE area. As for AT&T and Verizon, the coverage is despicable. I'm sure that if Verizon put ONE tower in the Duncan area, the service would be much better for Verizon customers as well as any company that has a roaming agreement with Verizon.

We have had AT&T for years. It dropped calls and they are gray areas in town. The reason we have mobile phones is to be able to make phone calls while "mobile" Recently, our cells phones don't work in many places including my work and major streets. This really sucks because we can't get in touch with our kids. AT&T refused to waive the termination fee although they did not provide the effing 3G network or any network most of the time. What a rip off! The customer representitive tell me that there's a couple of towers that are down and aren't fixed yet and assured me that I should have great reception at my address. WTF? My mobile phone should work when I'm mobile as well. Fix your damn towers (lazy or stupid?) or just hire someone from Verizon because you big dogs from AT&T are not doing anything worth a damn! Too many excuses that are lame and services that are unaccceptable.
