Visiting family in Lincoln Nebraska. I travel around the country and have had ok service except here in Lincoln. I have no service with phone calls but do have delayed service with text messages. No applications that require a connection work either. Even wifi through home router doesn't work either even though it shows 3-4 bars. Without wifi I still show 1-3 bars and no phone calls can be made. Time for trac phone.

Two years of very specific service areas. I can sit on one end of my couch and get decent service, but when I get up of sit on a different spot, I lose service. On campus I could get perfect reception in certain areas of certain classrooms, but not outside. I would often run around until I get service from anywhere because I would sometimes carpool with my roommate and need to find out where he is or if he's even still on campus

No Bars where I work... and I live three miles away on highest elevation in this town... signal will not re-connect between work and home unless I power off and back on... .missed messages... .been this way for years... .I'm switching to something else, time to get screwed on another 2 year contract with some other "no bars" racket...

AT&T claims to have coverage here, but you have to drive 1 mile north, on top of a hill, before you get a signal, then it's only one bar. Don't get AT&T if you live in Big Springs.

Coverage on T-Mobile map says excellent or good, in actuality"intermittent" at best outside, and never works indoors. My Sprint phone works flawlessly in all locations in the city inside structures as well.

I have been scratching my heads over this. I used to have spotty converage with this pre-paid T-Mobile that I brought with me from Seattle (425 area code). For last few months I have been taking this phone to 68144, 68182, 68127 areas and haven't seen one blip of the signal. I thought my cell phone was dead so tried other (unlocked) cell phones but no go. Oh, well, I guess T-Mobile doesn't work in Omaha... AT&T has decent coverage (my other phone) but looking for something better.

Stay away from Sprint. The customer service is horrible, I drop calls all the time, and I roam when I go inside a lot of places. I'm switching to Verizon later today. Sprint is horrible. Don't even waste your time.

Signal fades to 1 bar in hubbard, then quickly drops off when heading west on highway 35. Horrible service from ALL carriers here (Verizon, Alltel, Sprint). They all refuse to put up a tower here. It is a signal gap that's never been fixed. There's plenty of traffic on that highway, what are they waiting for????

If you have T-Mobile and moved to the Omaha metro, you can get out of your contract! its difficult but not impossible. call and complain, if your home address is in an area where there is no service you are all set. T-Mobile will let you cancel without EFTs. If it doesn't work file a complain with the FTC and wait, T-Mobile will call you nd kiss your butt then let you off without any charges. Worked for me (only took a few months:) )

No signal here through AT&T, T-Mobile, or Vaiero (all gsm networks). Verizon has great service here, but hopefully it's one of the areas AT&T bought from them during the merger. Also, no AT&T coverage in Blair (spotty) and Fort Calhoun. Oh, and Fremont needs better coverage too.
