reception totally bottoms out going through Ashland and picks up again in a reliable manor just after the Platte river. This despite the claim by cricket to have continuos coverage on this route

South Lincoln is full of holes with no or little reception. Me and my friends phones only work with 3 or more bars. Most of Lincoln is less than 3 bars. I highly recommend AGAINST Cingular

Especially East of intersection.

South and East of Beatrice all the way to the State Line, and east over to Hwy. 50 ( 700 square miles ). They have been telling me they are going to put up more towers in area for years. But know that they are being bought by USCellular they say that there is no plan to do anything with SE Nebraska. We have ZERO service in Wymore / Blue Springs, and they will not let me out of my contract because they say its not there fault. I just hope that my Son never has an Emergency to or from school because he will never get the help he needs. I will make CellularOne Customer Service employees ( the ones who are cold hearted when I explain my situation ) never live it down if that happens. They won't even send a company rep. down for me to prove to them that we have ZERO service. Its just a shame that our familys saftey has to come 2nd to there $200 dollar contract cancellation fees (thats $600.00). I will be switching to Alltel just like everyone else is doing down here when my contract is up. I just pray to God that my family stays safe driving in SE Nebraska. Thanks for listening neighbors.

No Service in many parts of omaha. Awful customer service regarding cancellation of current contract that was started in Colorado. Recommend that people stay away from T-mobile

Actually those of us in the industry do read these reports. I worked on 10 sites this summer along Hwy. 30. It's tough to put up towers in NE. The users need to show up at the Planning Commission Meetings to support better coverage. Only the nay sayers show up and then we lose. When we lose, no new towers get built. Look for better coverage along Hwy. 30 in the near future. Both for CellOne / Alltel.

I switched to Cingular GSM service 4 months ago. My old AT&T worked great in Syracuse, NE. My new phone works great in China and Taiwan, but is in a dark hole in Syracuse, NE and within a 22 to 35 mile radius. A shame that Asians are treated better than US citizens. It was the worst mistake I have ever made with regards to Cellular Service decisions.

There is absolutely no Cellular One reception in town. The reception has gone downhill drastically in the last year. There used to be some reception, now we get no bars at all.
