1-2 bars when we get reception. usually we don't.. and if we do.. calls are dropped..even tried using Nokia phone... they said for 300 dollars we could be released of our contract. ther's a tower 3 miles from my home and I cannot recieve or make calls EVER! Cingular says if I can ever get reception I am locked into their contract even if it is only for 2 minutes at a time.. terrible company!

This area sucks for service, Alltel really needs to put in a tower for farmers who rely on their phones.

This service is HORRIBLE! I was told there was a tower within 2 miles of Hartington, but yet somehow there is NO service. If you are lucky enough call out or receive a call, it will be dropped almost immediately! I think there is definately a problem with all of there "towers" in that area!

No reception or signal of any kind

A black hole -- no reception at all, although my relatives' Alltell works fine. I used to get excellent reception with a Nokia, which sales people informed me was a dual coverage (analog / digital) phone, so apparently no digital towers out east yet. Coverage along the Interstate is excellent and in Lincoln is ok.

*Phone setting to 'Alltel Home Network', no service. Half way between Pacific and W. Center Rd streets. Note: Westside High School has very poor reception to Alltel towers 0-2 at best. My high school son's phone will go to "out of plan" roaming and gets additional charges (we have the Nat'l Plan).

0 or 1 bars in and around the mall. If you can place or receive a call, you'll never be able to finish it while you're in the mall.

reception totally bottoms out going through Ashland and picks up again in a reliable manor just after the Platte river. This despite the claim by cricket to have continuos coverage on this route

South Lincoln is full of holes with no or little reception. Me and my friends phones only work with 3 or more bars. Most of Lincoln is less than 3 bars. I highly recommend AGAINST Cingular
