I do not get coverage. Every once in a while phone will indicate messages, but not enough reception to make a call. I supposedly this fall (Sept 08) a new Verizon tower will be working located in Glenbrook.

Almost never any reception indoors. Sometimes I will get a few outside but most of the time my phone is a useless brick. Stay away from t-mobile.

I have complained to Sprint several times, but to no avail. They claim they are building new towers, and that will fix the problem in the future. Meanwhile, I have no reception inside my home.

I have an old NOKIA 6160m PCS with an awesome plan and great coverage from inside my house. My wife has the Nokia 3395 from Cingular, with "No Service" displayed on the screen. Cingular (AT&T) is shutting off my PCS band and has offered me no plans that even come close to my current PCS plan, and wants me to downgrade to GSM. I have emailed AT&T and called 611 to complain. The answer I got was, "Go Outside". That's fine until the temperatures are in the 20 degree range, then your lips don't work too well. After months of frustration (I have been a PCS customer with AT&T for 10 years) and being ignored and forced to switch, I cut AT&T. I switched to Verizon (even got a phone with Analog AMPS for my travels on 395 or I-5). Both phones work inside the house, although my signal strength is not as good as PCS phone, we don't drop calls. Traveling to Lake Tahoe? Leave the GSM phone at home! Verizon also works on I-80 between Truckee and Nevada State Border (dead zone right near the border). Cingular GSM and PCS would not work on this side of Truckee!

Coverage totally drops out while crossing Lamoille Summit between Spring Creek and Elko. Then it is on Extended Coverage most of the time you are in town in a "Verizon covered" area and even then you are lucky to get any signal.

it is horrible out here. my phone is always out of service and Sprint won't let us out of our contract because they say they have a tower out here. well, the tower must be broken because I don't get service at all in my own home. sooooo annoying. we're cancelling and going to verizon. I have better things to do with my time then redial phone numbers and repeat conversations because the other person can't understand me. I HATE SPRINt.

I had a flip phone for almost 7 years with Sprint and it worked great until it finally broke! I just signed a new 2 year contract to get a discount of this, way too expensive" windows mobile phone. I don't even have bars, I only have the top of the cup. I also don't have any reception right in the middle of Sahara and the 15! Sprint told me to buy another phone and try it, but would not help me with any discount since I got one with this phone a few months ago. Sprint's customer service leaves something to be desired. I would rather pay the cancellation fee than stay with them!

I get no coverage inside the house... have to walk or drive (in bad weather) a block away to get coverage, and then only in that spot... until I get into main part of town approx. 5 miles away. I drive long distances at a time and depend on my phone for work... I can't begin to list ALL the places I do not coverage... may 1 bar at best. I want to switch to another carrier... was thinking about Cingular / AT&T, but after reading everyone else's comments, I don't know!
