Hello, I have been reading all the comments about the lack of reception for Verizon phone towers. I was on vacation in Laughlin NV in July 2011. Before I left, I checked Verizon's website to confirm I would have coverage and it said I would. When I arrived in Laughlin / Bullhead City Area my phone went into extended area (Roaming) and at that time making phone calls were hard but I could send text messages with no problem go figure. I finally had enough and did my own research, I first called Verizon tech support which was really no help to me they told me it should work but it was'nt. I went down to Radio Shack in Bullhead City AZ and asked them why my Verizon phone was not working and this nice employee told me there is only one Verizon repeater located near the Harrahs hotel which makes sense because the closer I got to the Horizon Shopping Mall by Harrah's Casino it switched back to the Verizion network and when I got futher away from the mall it went back to extended network. There is no Verizon towers in Bullhead City. I then asked what towers are in Bullhead and Laughlin and he told me there are AT&T and Sprint towers I hope this helps John

Gamebird / Pahrump Valley Blvd. intersection, Pahrump, NV 89048 Thu Nov 10, 2011

Voice and 2G coverage is great, but according to T-Mobile's map this area of Pahrump should have solid 3G service and it does not. False coverage information for this area. There is 3G service near Basin and Hwy. 160 area, just not by Gamebird and Pahrump Valley Blvd.and for at least 5 mile radius in all directions from that intersection.

I get horrible reception in almost all areas of Reno, and there's still no 4G. I can barely have a conversation at home and have to drive somewhere for important calls.

**Update to my last review comment... I have been so frustrated, I wasn't very clear on mentioning that T-Mobile REFUSED to send me an e-mail confirmation of their promises to take care of the many issues I have been having- including removing false charges for a phone I have already returned to them. It is insanely frustrating dealing with a company that refuses to offer you ANY kind of proof of what they tell you. They "say" that it's for my security that they don't send emails to me- and yet they still need all of my personal information, including the last 4 digits of my social security number before they will speak to me. Again- this company makes me physically ill-- quite literally...

Colorado Belle and River Palm, Laughlin, NV 89029 Tue Aug 09, 2011

In the Colorado Belle in a north facing room, I got reception on both the LG phone and the modem. In the River Palm, I was in a room on the 19th floor facing the river and AZ. Zero reception on the modem and passable reception on the phone. The problem with the modem was, according to Verizon, I was facing AZ. If I had been facing NV I would have been fine. So I took the pooter down to Denny's on the first floor and sure enough, I was connected. All other travel in the area of Bullhead, Golden Valley, Laughlin, Kingman was on the "extended network" with regard to the phone, but voicemail and texting could be spotty. As commented earlier, a drive up to Henderson was clear as a bell on the phone.

I have been with T-Mobile for several years. I have had dropped calls from time to time but never complained. However, within the last 5 days all 4 of our lines are out of service in Boulder City. I called and they said they are putting in a work ticket to check on the towers. It will take 72 hours. 72 hours have come and gone. I called again today and they said because of the holiday it will take longer. They are saying they show a "moderate" coverage in the Boulder City area right now. Hopefully, they can get this fixed. If not, we are changing providers.

Boulder City East of NV Hwy., Boulder City, NV 89005 Fri Jul 01, 2011

We have had t mobile service for YEARS while living in Boulder City. Phones recently ALL stopped working in BC at once. Called customer service. They insisted not a coverage problem, but rather all three of our sim cards failed at once. Drove to Henderson to get cards replaced. Got home. They STILL don't work. Called back. The kid at the t mobile store tells us he's been dealing with several BC people today, no relief even after replacing the sim cards - customer service is insisting there is no problem... ... ... ..but obviously there is. Disappointing that though we've been t mobile customers for around 10 years, they are slow to react to an obvious problem with their towers, and don't want to take action.

AT&T just doesn't work in shopping centers around pyramid and Los Altos. I frequent Genghis Grill and almost always have no data access. One in a while, if I hold the phone over my head and towards the window, I might get an extremely slow data connection. Voice is a little better, but not much. It seems the whole area is bad. I've reported this a number of times to AT&T since their coverage map says there should be a good signal, but nothing has changed in two years.
