Had EXCELLENT reception for several years. Now "NS." Verizon claims the issue is they lease USCelluar for roaming; US Cellular says nothing can be done. (This is a resort area with upwards of 25K persons in the summer, most of whom have Verizon, since most are from MA / RI / CT.

I previously got coverage on ATT TDMA at this location, since changing to Cingulad GSM NADA!

In town is good, but as you head farther south there's no service. A friend has had luck with a Motorola phone from US Cellular.

The only phone I have ever seen work here at my home in Alton Bay, is a pre-paid US Cellular phone that my step-daughter uses. It just barely gets a signal, maybe one or two bars, then the signal diasppears completely. My Verizon T720 gets absolutely NO signal at all here at my home.

This phone should be used as gravel fill only.

Nextel has no reception in the white mountain region. I dont know what service does but would like to find out.

Used to have great service on Verizon throughout downtown Portsmouth. They tell me that some reprogramming of towers last Fall has led to some holes in service. ONe of those holes is my office. Most of the area right along the Piscataqua river all the way to the Mall in Newington is now very "iffy". Verizon's been telling me they're going to fix this since October. It's getting worse. and I'm still under contract, having to pay for service I don't have.

T-Mobile has very flaky coverage in the Lebanon / Hanove region. Cell phones are useless. I have heard only U.S Cellular works. But it does not work anywhere else in the country!
