Milford NH / The Oval intersection, Milford, NH 03055 Sun Jan 15, 2006

Coming from Nashua, I get perfect phone service along 101A until I get out near Milford. My apartment is right on the Oval and all I can get there is Roaming! It's so bad that I am going to have to switch phone providers from Cingular because if I can't use my phone where I live now there's no point in having it.

Richmond, NH is generally a dead zone for all carriers. Occasionally, while out walking, we find a spot (never more than about 15 feet in diameter, and never in the same place twice that picks up enough of a signal to make a brief (5 minutes or so) call (3 bars at most). In general, Richmond is a great place to go to become "out-of-touch" with the incessant demands of our 24 / 7 world.

Rt. 10 / Dunbar Hill Rd. intersection, Grantham, NH 03753 Thu Dec 29, 2005

Developers constructed two huge cell towers in Grantham, and still U.S. Cellular can't manage to provide service in one of NH's fastest growing towns. When I inquired about this problem, some guy at the U.S. Cellular store said they were still getting permission from the town to provide service from these towers. Baloney! They don't need the town's permission to do this!

Problems with Cingular reception in many many areas. Their customer service keeps suggesting that I migrate to Cingular from ATT Wireless. Checking into this further, I would have to give up alot of my minutes in my current plan and purchase yet another telephone to that will work with Cingulars wireless system.. I just don't get it. Can someone say "Customer Service"

Steppinstone / Ash Swamp, Newmarket, NH 03857 Wed Oct 26, 2005

New resident to Newmarket, Sprint says there is coverage but much of the town isn't covered. Glad my commitment is almost up, it's time to switch cell company and get a new phone.

This is the black hole of Newmarket. I've contacted Spint a number of times about their using other towers in the area but they appear not to be interested in servicing the new subdivisions in this part of town.

Cingular has got to be the worst. I never got reception until reaching 101a Amherst / Merrimack. The best part is if I was late with my bill, Cingular would call my cell # and we could bearly hear eachother as they were trying to settle my bill. I tried to convince them to let me out of my contract because of poor / no service. They didn't care. I bit the $350.00 cancelation fee for two phones and switched to Verizon. Verizon is the only service that works in the Amherst school zones. I hope this post steers away at least one potential Cingular customer. Can you hear me now, Cingular???

I no longer have any service past the Massachussetts and Vermont border. I used to be able to use my phone in northern New Hampshire. Not any more! Kind of tough to get in touch with anyone...
