Even when the phone appears to have signal, it usually has either no service or a delay in service!

I live on Schooley's Mountain in Long Valley, NJ (zip code 07853) just near the intersection of Naughright and Flocktown Road. Had the DroidX and while at home I had absolutely zero reception, no calls, no data, nothing. There was not one single bar until I drove out to Route46 near where the closest tower must be. I was astounded at the complete lack of service, and when I called Verizon they refused to do anything about it, very rude support person told me to run out and buy a brand new phone, saying that I might have gotten a slightly older one. Service person at VzW was no help, was only interested in selling me a new battery. Very unhappy customer. All my neighbors have AT&T iPhone4 and love them and their service is superb.

The reception signal is terrible. iphone 4 is even worse (if not worst, although I can not find another worse than iphone 4). No signal at all.

up until 3 weeks ago the signal was super strong, 5 bars all the time. Now as soon as I get in the area, I go to data roaming and 5 minutes later I have no signal at all. don't know what happened but I hope it gets fixed soon, I can't spend all this money and not be able to use the phone due to poor service.

no voice service for last two weeks what an outrage. Company says they are changing the towers over to 4g. I did get one call through only to be dropped in the middle of conversation. Some of my neighbors are moving over to verizon. They cannot tell when service will be restored. How do you have data service but no voice service.

I moved to 79th St.to North Bergen and realized that both me and my wife don't get no reception on our T-Mobile phones. Their network really sucks!

If you really have to make a call from downtown Summit NJ and MetroPCS is your carrier you must go on top of the parking garage or nobody is home. Not even one bar

ATT reception in newport area is Abysmal! constant call drops very very poor reception and reception is not constant. A good tower can be a dropped call within seconds. In apartments, on roads,everywhere in this area AT&T signal reception is the worst.

Reception was dead as a doorknob in most spots downtown and within 25 miles of Cape May. That includes voice, data, and GPS.
