Service is so bad - I have to go outside and look for the bar to show up to make a call.. Have called ATT about this every other day for 2 years - they sent numerous techs in special Vans (to determine signal strength) - to finally tell me that ATT makes no claim that there phones work indoors.. prior to this Iphone thing I had Verizon - even thought I had dropped calls - at least I got calls - no like ATT

I used to have 1-2 bar and poor call quality. Now it says no service. I'm not sure if anything to do with new users from iPhone 4G. AT&T sucks in Newport.

Verizon's red map is a lie. There is no reception all along our road, even when going up to the tower 2.4 miles away. They sold us two phones and a family plan and then had the gall to tell us that we were in a known dead zone. They were unwilling to give us an extender. Needless to say, we sent it all back and are now back with T-Mobile and their excellent HotSpot at Home service which works great if you are in an area of little reception.

Someone has a Sprint network signal booster which is blocking all other Sprint / Boost / Nextel phones from making calls.

Virtually no coverage at all and if I have a call it drops. When I call AT&T all I am fed are lies. When you speak with any customer service representative or a manager the story why there is no coverage changes each time. I was even told one spring that it was the blooming trees that was creating the problems. The fact is that there are not enough cell towers or enough digital packets for the area. In addition, AT&T does not allow anyone to speak with upper management to discuss these issues and calls to the FCC have resulted in zero being done.
