I get no reception in my house. I have to go outside to make phone calls. If someone tries to call me, my phone doesn't ring, and they have to leave a message. After I leave my home, the message will come through. I hope Verizon works out better.

In my office, there are people with 4 other cell plans which all get great coverage in the building. When my phone rings, I have to run outside to take the call. My 2 year contract is up in a month, and I can't wait to switch. Alltel has treated me very shabbily in addition-cutting off my son's phone (family plan) before we even got a bill. They had $1200 of bogus roaming and LD charges on it, didn't tell us, and cut his phone off when he was traveling without telling any of us they would do it. Straightening it out was a customer "service" nightmare. Oh ya, they aren't national either-we couldn't find stores in NY or DC when we had difficulty on trips there.

Spint has pitiful coverage at best through out the west side but Golf Course and Irving you get nada. Don't bother calling Sprint on it. They have heard it all before and don't care.

The entrance to Eldorado is one of the biggest cell holes in the nation for a commercial area. No cell reception anywhere around the commercial areas. I have been with Alltel since the beginning (98?). Overall pretty good except right where I live and up on Rowe Mesa where there are mysterious hot spots in the middle of nowhere where we get perfectly good reception. There is also an abundance of dropped calls. The LG 3200 is at least two bars below my previous Motorola V60. I regret everyday that I gave up that phone. In anything close to a marginal signal area, the LG just doesn't pull anything in.

There is no or extremely spotty reception along the entire Galisteo Creek corridor. This goes from Conchas dam at the intersection of the Rio Grande and Galisteo Creek, thru Cerrillos and El Dorado and on to Pecos. I've been a Verizon customer for many years but I'm being forced to swith to Alltel because they appear to have my area (Santa Fe) ringed with towers and Verizon apears to have one down by Alberque some where.

Two of us had tri-mode phones while vacationing at Valle Escondido (half way between Taos and Angel Fire). Neither one of us could get coverage in this area, not even on roaming. We drove over to Angel Fire one evening, and still didn't get any coverage. Both analog and digital signals were nonexistant.
