Reception in most of the Los Ranchos area is nonexistant due to the fact that the village covenants prohibit any towers. Since I live and work in that area, it makes life very difficult at times. Oddly enough, I have great reception at my house (the only reason I keep this service.) Down the street from my house, there is none. Many places in and around Albuquerque are very sketchy. Everyone in my family has Sprint so that makes it hard to change but when my contract is up, I will seriously be looking at something else.

We really got had with this phone deal. The phone will say it has service but if you can get a call to go out, the battery will be flat in minutes. You can't leave the phone on for any length of time either. It will be flat within an hour or two.

I can get as many as 5 bars and the phone claims it cannot find the network. It's a self-inflicted denial of service having Sprint for a carrier; my wife has no trouble with T-Mobile. My Sprint contract runs out this month and I am firing them. I want a Treo 650, but if I have to have Sprint, no thanks.

I don't have service MORE than I do. Cingular is the absolute WORST service carrier in ALB.

only in a city it will work it wont pick up in pecos or pena blanca

only in santa fe this phone works but going north on i-25 it has no service and going to alburqurque it will fade out all the time

Little to no reception out here. I have to go to the middle of town to get reception or out to the Middle of Llano Estacado to get 2 bars. T-Mobile Sucks out here!

Cingular is not functional here at all

Cingular is Nationwide but service isn't. Don't buy Cingular.
