I frankly don't believe the people here saying Sprint is 5 / 5 in Manhattan. In Northern Battery Park City there is no service whatsoever. No data and so little voice that the phone doesn't ring for most calls. I work all over Manhattan and service is extremely spotty overall. The area around the MoMa in the middle of Manhattan has no service either. The phone is basically useless. I've had Blackberries on Verizon and AT&T and Sprint's service a disaster compared to both (Verizon is of course better). Under no circumstances would I recommend Sprint to an NYC resident. Can't wait to get back onto Verizon - will never consider Sprint again.

No 4G reception on the 6th floor. If I manually switch to CDMA I get full 3G reception, but phone won't auto switch.

No cell service on the west facing side of Edward's Hill. This problem needs to be fixed.

No reception in N, R, Q station.

Zero signal in subway station (4, 5, 6).

No service in building on West 86th street. Phone network changes to At&t, even though I pay for T-Mobile service. I always drop calls especially before entering the one train. Awful service.

No reception for most of route 13, every once in a while a text will come through but never enough service for a call! :(

Wife's "Sprint" phone gets texts and minimal voice reception. My Nextel gets nothing.

In the heart of Times Square. I get absolutely no 3G service even though iPad is showing 4-5 bars. It worked okay (but not great) up until about a monh ago. Then it just went dark in early Dec. No service whatsoever. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Absolutely useless. Absolutely pathetic for AT&T to. Of have service in Times Square, New York City. Anyone wanna trade a Verizon iPad for an AT&T iPad?

Just got a Boost mobile phone the other day. My husband has had one and no problems. I started getting error messages and no network the other day. I called Boost they say there is damage to a tower that also services Sprint. I thought by today would be fixed. I called back, they say restoration is tommorow.
