Can't get any service at the lake front. When we drive up to the main road we can get it - but barely. It's very iffy... .

I purchased an OYSTER cell from Virgin Mobil only to find the reception is non existant in my town of Sound Beach. It is so poor that I couldn't activate the phone. When I called the company to get a refund they informed me that I had to write their headquaters to get any posibble money back for my minuets. I might get nothing even though they said they provide service to my zip code area. In other words I have paid them (with un-refunded cell minuets) to find out that they don't provide service in my area. I have never been able to make so much as one call on this cell. Buyer, be ware!

Verizon wireless coverage is pathetic. I have little to no coverage from my house, driving west gives me spotty coverage with frequent dropouts. Driving on I-87 coverage is 'ok' near the border but there is a dead spot near the Beekmantown restarea. So much for living in a covered area.

OK reception on street but no reception in my apt. After several calls to 611 I got to "Level 2" and after 72 hour delay got to "Advance Tech" but still no reception in my apt 17 st and 3rd. Reason they gave: "No budget for new tower."

I hate T-Mobile. I can NEVER get service anywhere its totally pathetic. I strongly recommend not getting T-Mobile.

We get no T-Mobile reception in the architecture building. Most of my classmates have switched to other carriers as the reason. Get on the ball T-Mobile! In this day in age, reception above ground really shouldn't be a n issue.

on a good day on the roof deck I can make and receive calls if I hold the hanset correctly and do not move - otherwise forget it...

Unbelievable that in Manhattan there is zero (none, nada, zilch) reception in the Verdesian in Battery Park City. I reported this to T-Mobile in April 2006 but as of October 2006 there is no change.

cingular is by far the worst carrier I have ever had. it's impossible to make or receive a phone call anywhere in westchester, ny. same for text messages. they say that they have the fewest drop calls but that obviously doesn't apply to new york. I don't know maybe in the midwest or something. NEVER GET CINGULAR.
