Extremely disappointing... . The only phones I have seen in the very Up state corner of NY is Verizon or Tracfone. Wish I had purchased a Tracfone instead. Those that have the Tracfone have great service as well as Verizon users. Virgin Mobile operates of Sprint Towers and they suck in this area. For those looking for a phone and not a monthly bill to go with it, Tracfone is the way to go..if you are this far North.

Almost no reception in apartment and a 4 block radius Outside. VERIZON is probably WORST service in Jackson Heights. They don't care about the boroughs. Heard Sprint is good in this area. LG phone is bad. Battery charge runs out fast; one second it shows it is fully charged and the next it's low battery. I yearn to go back to Motorola of try Samsung. If there is not service is there any way to get out of a contract early. Only cellular phones can NOT provide a service and expect to get paid. If you are having bad service in Western Queens contact Verizon... maybe their CEO / president Dennis F. Strigl reads this. Gives rest of Verizon a bad name.

Pretty much NO Nextel service period in this area

Very poor reception on Fischer Rd. Enter The Mansions complex and have no signal any where.

T-mobile's coverage is terrible. Outside is ok but once go inside of the bldg. I lose all reception. I used to have Verizon and I didn't have any problem. I should go back to Verizon, but T-mobile's package is much better than Verizon, and don't want to pay penalty for cancellation to T-Mobile 'cause poor reception is their problem, not mine.

I literally need to lean on the bedroom window to get 1 bar. No reception throughout the rest of the apartment. Friends with T-Mobile get good reception.

My phone works pretty well by the windows in the front and back rooms, but not at all in between. I saw a similar comment here from someone on the same street. T Mobile keeps saying theyll send someone to investigate the problem but of course that never happens. Im considering switching to Verizon and telling T Mobile I refuse to pay their cancellation fee due to poor service. But Verizon's rates to text to Europe are so high...
