My wife has a T-mobild. As soon as she drive into independance dirve she would loose all the signal. However my next phone is just fine.

No reception at CSHL with VirginMobile

I cant believe Nextel is still in this business... When I get a call, it drops.. I cant recall getting a call that didnt drop.. and push to talk is getting worse and worse, I guess they are overloading circuits because I get busy all the time.. My friend that just got Cingular service is raving about it.. Freaking 2-year contract..

I cant believe Verizon says it has the best network in NYC. I cant get service in my office on the 35th floor while Cingular's service is very good.. I gotta switch to Cingular 'cause they are much better on the upper floors.. they must be doing something to target the higher floors that the other carriers arent.. If you work on a skyscraper, get a Cingular phone, your only chance it will work all the time..

No reception in this area maybe a little at times but cuts out on you.

Very depresing, have coverage everywhere but home

Upgraded a analog phone to GSM technology per recommendation by carrier. Service is non-existant. I cannot use my phone at home. I have to get in my car and travel several miles in order to pick up a signal. Why are there no cell towers in Camden? I had better reception (as poor as it was) with my old analog phone.

In one word, the cell service in Centerport sucks!

On one side of town I get great service 4-6 bars, and as soon as I go 1 mile down the road, the other side of whitehall all of a sudden drops to 1 bar and no service, WONDERFUL! but I do have to give credit to Cingular for actually raising the bar, because in granville, new york, there has never been service there with any carrier until yesterday their towers were setup and turned on!

Nextel in Fresh Meadows community complex is horrible. In the area it is ok, but in the buildings it is horrible. If you live in the Fresh Meadows area or community complex, stay away from Nextel. Is is probably the buildings themselves that do not allow for passage of signal, but the bottom line is the phone does not work.
