I don't know what happened, but Nextel Reception any where in Marlboro / Milton / Newburgh area has completley turned to crap!

Very bad signal. Getting dropped calls all the time in my house. There's absolutely not signal once I walk away from windows at all.

No reception in the gym while other people are chatting away on verizon

No bars in Branchport or Penn Yan at all.

"I'm coming up to Round Swamp Road" is a familiar refrain in my Nextel conversations, it means the call is going to drop in 3 - 2 - 1 - beeep. Every time.

Unbelievable... It's two days that I am completely unreachable. The phone works perfectly... as a matter of fact as long as I'm closer to 8th avenue it works great. As soon as I start walking towards 10th avenue, the line drops and I have no signal, when I used to have it for the last 2 months. Not only, often the phone shows full signal strength, but no matter what number I call the lines are always busy... My two friends who also have Cingular have had the same problem. They better put up some repeaters, or they'll lose all their customers in the area... I'll be the first one Cingular, raising the bar... .funny, huh?

Nextel, terrible service if any in Staten Island, NY around the college. Nextel really doesn't care for individual customers, there concerns are for business. Also many dead spots in NJ along the Garden State Parkway. You can drive from NY down to AC and listen to your Nextell drop in and out of service. Or make a call and have the person on the other end tell you to use a pay phone instead because they are tired of trying to understand you because you drop in and out... ..

This seems to be the worst area on the island. I drive 45 minutes each way to and from work and a majority of my journey is made with no service.

my phone would often crackle and drop off... but for the past week I have no signal at all... .it really sucks... and Verizon is telling me I need to upgrade (when I just got the phone 6 months ago after losing one) and start a whole new 2 year plan (when I am due to finish my 2 yr. plan in December. I am very unhappy with them... !

if you live on long island DO NOT GET T-MOBILE this service is absolutely useless unless you like overpaying for the worst service youll ever experience
