Behind Poughkeepsie Galleria, Off Sheafe Rd. / Rt. 9 intersection, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Sun Jun 19, 2005

i am less than 2 miles from the Verizon store, walking distance to the poughkeepsie galleria, huge mall, and I cannot get a signal. I have complained to verizon, 1 LG and 3 treo 600 later, it is not the phone. I asked them to check the area, they said there should be signal, well guess what, "i cannot hear u know", I am on a landline phone. that's it, gonna loose all the money invested in my treo600 plus $175 cancellation fee, but I have no choice, I have the misfortune of needing to make a phone call from home. my neighbor is always in his yard walking around trying to find a signal, I yell at him, "give it up steve, go inside".

I have never had any reception for a 40 mile stretch along NY RTE 22 through Petersburg, Berlin, Stephentown, and New Lebenon. I know another carrier works in this area. Just need to figure out which one.

I don't know if its the Police Station, or the neighborhood but there is NO RECEPTION WHAT SO EVER! I couldn't even get one bar until I drove past 106 or the other way past 107. You'd think the Police Station would have a cell site, or at least a strong cell site around the CW Post campus. Maybe that chrome horse is shielding all the signals from the area!? Just kidding.

We live right in the village of Nassau, we all have different Verizon phones and NONE of them get reception anywhere in the village. I have contacted Verizon several times and they are doing nothing to fix it. They simple say "we have three towers in that area." Apparently none of them are working

In my apartment (facing Isham St.) there is no reception whatsoever, unless I put my phone right up against the window. Outside it seems to work better, although calls still get dropped. Anybody know what has good service in this neighborhood? My contract is up and I am ready to try anything at this point!
