Indoors - no reception at all - never has been! Outdoors - not bad but useless as with no network I don't even get my messages until I go outside.

No reception at all near my house; have to go 1 / 4 - 1 / 2 mile either direction on Noyes to get any signal.

I live in Nissequogue and get no service here

i dont get crap with any phone in berkshire...

Paid $500 for state of the art phone, locked in for a year (or two? God I forget... ) and the thing doesn't work AT ALL in my office. Every other cell phone I've ever seen works fine in my office (it's made of glass) except the T-Mobile phones. Run, don't walk: run, somewhere else. I have a great phone, which (as noted elsewhere in comments) works better on deserted islands 5000 miles away from home, than it does in midtown Manhattan. Ridiculous. Somebody -- anybody -- should be fired. IT in NYC

Had Nextell for 7 years and the past year its sooo bad Dead zones all over NYC. They have become AT&T

I cant even explain how bad Nextel is..No service in my house, ALWAYS drops call, the radio sounds like someone is talking to me under water..the problem with Nextel is everyone is soo on them since day 1 with the radio..for what you pay you dont get 1 / 2 of what you deserve..and there cost. service is a bunch of jerk 0ffs... ask them if they have a Nextel and they would say NO... hmmm wonder why! the inside always knows better on whats really going on..

I have no service at all on my PalmOne Treo 650 on South Shore of Cuba Lake. It's the first area of "no service" I've found with Cingular between Rochester and Cuba.

No reception whatsoever in or around my house. Extremely poor reception (if you are lucky) when you get out to 120 / Whippoorwill intersection --totally useless. My wife has a Nextel and she has only marginally better (i.e., 1 bar as opposed to none) reception in the house and around Norther Westchester.

Nextel has very poor receiption in the East Islip New York area. They have already given me a $60.00 credit to placate me.
