No reception here with this phone but as we traveled back down route 28 towards Kingston the phone did picked up some (2bars) briefly in Shokan, then went to zero signal right to just about a mile from the NY Thruway.

Struggle to get 1 bar, in the house or out

I've had T Mobile for years and have never understood why anyone in Brooklyn would say it was a bad service UNTIL I went to Carroll Gardens today with my new G1. I got off the train at Carroll St.and walked all the way up to Bergen and over to Hoyt to meet a friend. I said, "Dude, I think my G1 is busted, and I just got it". He explained that no one on T Mobile gets service in Carroll Gardens or Boreum Hill. How is that possible? Is the government testing microwaves on the population there or something?

On the Verizon site it says we get service here, yeah i'm so sure, it's a complete dead-zone.

NO reception indoors. Have to walk 200 feet to the road to get the slightest reception. Constant dropped calls. Verizon works indoors but AT&T has no signal at all.

t-mobile has very cheap plans,but reception is terrible

Over the last year the reception has gotton worse and worse. Lucky to get one bar.

beware T mobile was told upon activation this area was covered. not one single call made during my 2 year contract! no bars ever. I pay a fortune for the service and can only use it 1 / 2 the week while in the city customer service is the worst

I find Verizon service to be marginal at best in and around the huntington and greenlawn areas. Dead zones on 25a, oldfields road, in area grocery stores (waldbaums - greenlawn stop and shop - east northport) and at my house ( so 25A between cherry lane and bankside) have left me absolutely disgusted and bitter. Does anyone have a good experience with their provider in these areas?????? I need a new provider! 11743 11740
