The intersection of Queens and Selwyn and Radcliffe, near Queens University, has become a "dead" zone in the last two months. I get reception inside my house with a "network extender" but no reception outside or within a 1-2 block area. What is the problem? This is new and we never had reception problems before. Anything to do with the construction at Queens University?

Dead Spot on the main floor of Charlotte Convention Center from Verizon Wireless. You would think they would put in some sort of signal booster for a venue such as this! Especially with the Democratic National Convention coming to town. Come on Verizon, you can do it!

On the main floor of Charlotte Convention Center Verizon has NO OR VERY WEAK COVERAGE! You think they will fix by the DNC?! We participate in a multi day show there every year and it's terrible. Seems they would atleast put in a repeater or something for all their nice customers!

If you live in Valdese, DO NOT get T-mobile. Their service is terrible here. Several spots where there's no reception at all.

Sprint's data and text package is what lured me. They gave me a femtocell for my house and that improved things only at my house. Going to give T-Mobile a try.

Lake Adger, Mill Spring, NC, Mill Spring, NC 28756 Fri Dec 30, 2011

As shown on the AT&T coverage map, the areas around Columbus, NC and Mill Spring, NC have little or no AT&T coverage. I am frequently in the area around Lake Adger now and I usually just turn my phone off to save battery life. There are a few spots where I can get 1 bar which will allow me to send or receive a text, but phone calls fail within seconds of connecting. The dead zone covers Mill Spring all the way up to Lake Lure. I can't believe that AT&T coverage here is so awful. Even in Columbus, NC which is the intersection of US-74 and I-26, you can only get 1 or 2 bars when standing outside (forget indoors). Sprint and Verizon have excellent (3G!) coverage in this area since they have towers located on Tryon Peak, just north of Columbus which covers this entire area. After speaking with AT&T "Offices of the President" they told me that there are no plans to add coverage in this area. I will have to wait out the contract and switch to Verizon.

No reception says it all. Sprint sucks any way you look at it. Go with Verizon!

I go from 5 to 0 bars is less than a second. Probably 5 out of 20 calls in / out go thru, but drop with in the 1st min. Terrible reception. Even if I am totally still, I go from bars to 0 bars with in seconds or less.
