worst cell reception anywhere from china grove nc north on i85 to lexington. hardly any bars... this cell company really needs to pickup the dropped ball.

No Sprint service at all here. Coverage map says there's excellent service, but Sprint tech support admits it's roaming in all of Carrboro. I have to drive into Chapel Hill to make a call. This is ridiculous... The people at the Sprint store told me the town won't allow towers to be built here. I think it's time for Carrboro to step into the modern era of communication and put the hippy BS behind them.

AT&T didn't really provide the network and improve is not really in here. It's sucks pay for monthly fee as $160 to $200 even not working really here. AWFUL SERVICE! cell and customer service. You can't get anything done when you go into the stores and there is no reception on my travel route to work for at least 30 min. DO NOT GO TO AT&T!

Do not receive any service from home and will be changing to something else. Had Alltel two years ago and had decent reception from home. Sprint has not sent me a printed bill for months and expect me to check computer e-mail for billing. This is a real problem! Told by Sprint representive that the bill was mailed and the mail man was not delivering the bill to me. How stupid do they think I am????

bring back my Alltel.. we're just across the NC-SC border in carolina Shores-Calabash area.. had Alltel for 10 years here.. never had a reception problem.. been battling with Verizon since the changeover in July '09 when they bought Alltel out.. turns out we find out that Verizon has not totally intergrated the Alltel towers into their system.. and from what they tell me they won't for at least two years.. they finally did a 'ticket' and sent a crew out to check the reception here on my street... they called me back and said it was horrendous.. this because my third cell line wasn't getting service.. they finally killed that line for us... now they say that if we want we can get rid of our other two lines we can do so.. what a mess... looks like I'll be sending in a complaint to the FCC.. no one at Verizon knows what they are doing... from the store in Myrtle beach to the many tech support people I've spoken to.. we just got back from a cruise over the holidays.. the two Verizon phones were supposed to w*rk while at sea on the ship's satellite cell system.. ours were the only ones that didn't w*rk among all the Verizon phones.. turns out Verizon put us on a 'hybrid Alltel system' and not on their system... when we got back I spoke to a dozen more techs.. no one knew what the problem was.. including their crack super support people at Global Intl Roaming.. they put in another 'ticket' to investigate what the problem is and why both our LG phones.. an LG Env Touch and an Env3.. didn't w*rk at sea.. if Verizon is the best carrier out there for Customer Service how can it get any worse..

My daughter bought a T-Mobile phone before going off to Davidson. The phone store guy promised good coverage. The only place on campus she could make a call was standing at the top of the football stadium. After a long, nasty contract buyout we switched the same phone to ATT and she has good reception, indoors and out. It's also common knowledge that Verizon has full campus coverage. Also, I have gotten 5 bars on a cheapo Tracfone(which runs on ATT towers). Similarly, PagePlus Cellular, which runs on the Verizon network should have great coverage with low prices.

I enjoyed adequate coverage - fluctuated 2-4 bars- I could make calls and hear - it was fine. Now though, since around 12 / 14 / 09, AT&T has changed their network coverage- downgraded a cell tower with no ETA- and my area is now a dead zone. This was along with a major network issue that effected multiple states, or so I was told. I received a text message that this has been resolved, but my coverage is worse than ever. I have had 2 trouble tickets in with customer service and will be calling again today. I will be leaving AT&T this week if they do not fix it. My cell phone is my only phone, has been for years. I rely on it for emergency calls too, so this is an urgent matter for me.

Sprint reception is horrible. Don't have any bars inside my home and calls dropped outside of the home..
