Very, very poor reception in this area of town. Dropped calls common. Not pleased.

Could not find a signal as we drove around the Highlands-Cashiers area. We finally got a spotty signal as we got close to Dillard, GA. (Our second phone, Cingular, faired no better.) I guess the Highlands area is truly a great place to get away from it all (just don't count on a cell phone in case of an emergency).

This area has: Verizon - 1 bar sometimes Alltel 1 to 2 bars sometimes USCellular 2-3 bars sometimes Virgin Mobile 0 bars always Nextel 1 bar sometimes.

Glad I didn't get a long term contract for this experiment. The coverage is lacking.

Unbelievable! Calls consistently dropped on I-40 in Cary and in other points throughout the Triangle. Consistently low bars in many spots in the Triangle. The prior Alltel service I had in this area was 10x better.

sales man a Nextel stated that I would have good signal at home. I dont and I have to drive no less than 15 miles before I get any signal at all. the real crappy thing is thay will not release me from my contract.

Cingular has a commerical saying more bars, where are they at? I can't service anywhere in or out of ferguson.

I have been with Sprint for 6 years When Imoved here I would get reception in my house now I don't get it in or out of the house and Sprint say's it was not there problem... ...

I have been with Working Assets who uses the Sprint network for a year. Something changed this past summer and I cannot get any service in my house and limited service on my porch. The other night my daughter went to use her phone and she was in roaming - right in the heart of Greensboro. Friday night I was in the Cardinal area and had no service either.
