Hwy. 64 , Highlands North Carolina / At the Culasaga Club intersection, Highlands, NC 28741 Mon Aug 22, 2005

This area is well impossible to even try to make a phone call or recieve them also.Where I live in the country club is a problem area especially when my power goes out most likely it also takes out my house phone too so I am back there with no outside link to the world so if I even needed the toiwn fire depatment or EMS and lets not forget the police there is now way to even contact them at all. Very scary when that happens. Something has to change very soon as well I have the can you hear me now, well duh NO,ooops we're bad telling you that LIE as we didn't try to come up to our mountain town and scope out neighborhoods to see the trouble at wrist to face. Well for the amount of my bill I demand a tower or hey I can just cancel how's that.

Two months ago Sprint service went from 4 bars to 0 very suddenly. We fired BellSouth and went totally mobile because it was so good then. Now we're cancelling Sprint service and going VoIP Vonage and pay-as-you-go (other) cell service for emergency only. Going backward in time aren't we?

Even after Verizon "tuned" to closest tower no change. We are on high point with line of sight. Any reception can only be measured nanoseconds. Carrier pigeons would be a vast improvement to this abuse. The value of Veizon's service is largely exceeded by the cost.

Dead zone in this area. Calls usually dropped. Also, numerous occasions of not receiving voice messages until days after message was left. Will find out when another message comes in. When you check voicemail, you find the old message.

Both a tri-mode phone and an all digital phone drop calls. Both speakers' voice breaks up. But my old phone with Verizon didn't seem to have as much a problem. Don't know why.

Town Mountain Rd. / Beaverdam Valley Side intersection, Asheville, NC 28804 Sun Jul 24, 2005

No Cingular in-home reception on Beaverdam valley side of Town Mountain Rd (2.5 mi from College St). Verizon has antenna on Elk Mountain Scenic Hwy. so it works fine.
