I have ZERO reception in my house. Phone will ring, but no conversation. Goes from no bars to occasionally 1 bar, but can't place or take call. I work in downtown Charlotte, and reception if fine there. Would like to change carriers but I don't know who has coverage here... .

Poor reception / dropped calls in and around Weaverville and Asheville. My wife and I are on family plans, and we can never talk one complete conversation due to call being dropped. This particular day, I was in MVP Barber shop, and I had no bars. I went outside, and still had no bars until I walked around 10 feet behind my car, where I got 1 bar. A lady inside the barber shop (waiting on her son) made a couple of calls on her US Cellular phone. The owner of the barber shop said he too had US cellular and had no issues. Like me, he used to have Verizon, but he had several dead spots. We had major dead spots with Verizon on 19 / 23 in the woodfin dip, and near North Buncombe Elementary school, but Cingular drops more calls than Verizon ever did. Guess I'll try US Cellular next.

When I am coming from the University area, I will am consistently dropped at this intersection before the handoff from one tower to the next is completed.

My calls are always dropped when I am coming from W.T. Harris Blvd.

Travel I540 every day between Creedmor and US1 and I can always count on dropping my calls between US1 and Falls of Neuse

Cingular is always dropping calls in this area or in most areas even with 5 bars recipetion is bad. I get a lot of call fail or network busy when calling from my house.

Service drops everytime on I-485 near South Blvd. Cingular has the most dropped calls for me throughout the Southeast US.

Reception in the Sardis Forest Subdivision is spotty at best. On my street there is NO reception. Not just for Cingular but for other carriers as well. We drop all calls when driving into the neighborhood.

I cannot connect to the Nextel service at all in Oriental.

No reception on Mary's Grove
