Enter any building on the North Campus of A&T State University, and you have no coverage. I've been experiencing this problem for 3 years, with 2 different Motorola T-720's and my current LG VX4400.

I can't get a signal at my house. I only live about one mile from the RaceTrac on North Main Street. When I get close to the RaceTrac, the signal strength is full. I have experienced a lot of dropped calls and I switched back to TDMA from GSM because the GSM service was terrible. Also, I got charged roaming because my calls were bouncing off of some tower in Atlanta, GA. Took me months to get that one straightened out.

Little reception in remote areas. And, frequent phone drops in Charlotte, NC, where I travel for business. Stay away from Nextel if you are looking for service. Not willing to help with anything - even during an emergency!

Lots of people with no reception.

I tried T-Mobile, Verizon and Cingular. Cingular / BellSouth bundle said I had 30 day trial period. No reception in my apartment (even though I can SEE a cell tower from my living room), my parking lot, or in my office at the college. Borrowed a US Cellular phone and got great coverage at home and office. Tried to port my Cingular number and now all of a sudden they never heard of the 30 day trial offer, even tho' 2 people told me that and I have their names and dates / times of calls. I'm going to complain to the CEO of Cingular, BellSouth and the FCC. US Cellular seems the service to buy in Hendersonville.

No reception at all, ever. Verizon and Sprint don't have problems but Cingular doesn't get reception at the airport.

Cingular sucks in East Durham. Trying right now to figure out who to switch to..

Sprint's got to be kidding! No reception flat! One bar if I go outside and point in the right direction.
