I get no reception. Occasionally I can get one bar from my top deck. I am not sure what the distance of reception for a tower but one out our way would be helpful to many.

VERIZON SUCKS IN GREENVILLE, NC! THEY KNOW IT AND WILL NOT FIX IT! I receive zero to no reception routinely in my apartment (Wilson Acres), which is directly in the middle of the town. On the ECU campus, I cannot walk and talk or again the call is dropped and you lose reception. When I call to complain, my call gets dropped. When I did get through, Verizon sent me a $250 network extender to help my coverage. However, the network extender requires my high-speed internet connection thus killing my ability to do research online. Moreover, when on the network extended, I cannot receive phone calls... when people call me they receive a recording that my phone is out of service. My contract expires in March, I will then drop Verizon and never come back!

Bought great phone at Sams for a really good price but got home and had no service. Didn't have a phone call and couldn't make one for two days. Tower is supposedly not that far away but it didn't reach us.

No reception in the house and no bars. Do get reception when on the roof of the house or when by the road rather than by the lake.

We are closing on a home on Shady Grove at the end of Sept, and were assured by our realtor that there was an ISP available for the area, however in checking and searching for hours on end, I find not ONE ISP covering this area. This is extremely upsetting as I do all of my business online and CANNOT believe that I cannot get any connection in this area. If anyone has a suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated.

NO signal as soon as you leave Pilot Mountain, NC. Signal returns near Flat Rock, NC near Mt. Airy. NO signal in the Virginia area either. WHEN WILL SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS? I have had property in this area for over a year now and can not use my cell phone at all. Family and friends have Verizon and can use their phones. I have to pay over $50. per month for a Landline! AT&T, ARE YOU LISTNING???????????????? Well not if you are on a cell phone!

I've been in Charlotte for almost a year and a half now and the only place I get reception is the airport. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

For years with Alltel and then when they merged with Verizon there were no coverage issues at my house. This was until about 2.5 to 3 months ago when I was told by Verizon that they were upgrading the towers. We got 4-5 bars outside and 3-4 bars nside our house. Now I don't have any reception at all inside the house and barely have 1 bar on the outside. I was told by Verizon that they have not had enough calls to warrant an investigation since we seem to be the only ones that are having issues. I find this hard to believe. If anyone lives in this area... .please please call Verizon and complain so we all can get our reception back!

we need a cricket in ramseur with more coverage the only phone that picks up where I live is Verizon and the to expensive. we need more towers and better choices in service the 1.
