At&t works well at Duke U. Usually drop calls on HW 98 (low areas) on the drive to Wake Forest. Once I get to my home there is no reception. My daughter has Sprint and can get 1-2 bars inside my home.

Unfortunately after the tornado that went through Raleigh on April 16, 2011 My cell reception has gone to zero. I now say I live in the DEAD ZONE. I am being advised that the 3 towers that were lost during the tornado will be up and functional by the end of the month of JUNE.

i didnt have any trouble with Sprint until about 8 months ago. I renewed contract for 2 years and recieved a new phone. Since then I have had no reception. I thought it was the phone so I had another phone activated and it still does the same. it is Sprint reception. My daughter and I live in apartment in Garner. we have to go outside to make calls and most of the time that dont even work. kind of scary if you have emergency and cant even call 911. I have called Sprint and have gotten no help.

I wish I had found this helpful website before I bought this phone (two days ago.) Location at Apple Valley golf course, Lake Lure. Inside and around our home: mostly no reception or one bar which quickly fades away yet just uphill from our home it gets 4-5 bars and all along the route to Lake Lure, it showed 1-3 bars. I will switch to Verizon and hope for better reception. Thanks for this help.

I use the Sprint network and I haven't had any reception in my home in 2 days.

On April 16th a tornado hit between Louisburg road and Buffalo road, God bless those who were profoundly affected by those tornados. Boost Mobile / Sprint service no longer exists in this area now. I get no service in the majority of my home. If I stand by my window facing buffalo road I can get three bars. If I am in my room, which also faces buffalo road I can catch 3 bars, but I cannot move an inch or I will lose all signals and the call will be lost. Has anyone else had this problem and if so have you attempted to call Sprint or Boost Mobile. Boost Mobile has the worst customer service I have every experienced, hence the $60 dollar plan. Wow what a horrible sacrifice. I know Boost is on Sprints network, so if there are any Sprint customers who are experiencing this same problem please post any updates you may have. I finally got a live person with boost and they told me May 12th was the expected repair date and I called them on May 13th. I then went to a Sprint store and the guy told my there were 3 towers down and Sprint was aware of the problem. He also stated that the towers where scheduled to be back up by June 9th. Well it is now June 11th 2011 and I still have no service. I really don't care for paying for something that doesn't work. Boost has a great rate plan for BBs and it is what attracts me to them, but if this is not resolved very soon I will be switching providers. If anyone can help with updates it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and L.O.V.E.

My wife, sister, daughter-in-law and brother all have Verizon and they get much better reception at our house. I've been trying to find where my closest AT&T cell tower is in an online search but haven't had any luck. Can you please help me.
