If you are travelling between Lenoir and Taylorsville and need to make a call give up on the Sprint / Nextel company. With the phone set to accept all towers their "free roaming" doesn't even pick up a tower visible from the road.

I often have no reception or a "searching for signal" messege in my home, but if I stand on one leg, arms straight, turn my cap on backwards and blink my eyes every 45 seconds the reception comes in perfect. Oh! did I mention it has to be done only from 2am til 2:15.

there are about 3 mile in which Wendover, Sharon and the SouthPark area have horrible connections. Surely one tower along this route would help solve this issue. We are located well-within the city!

True, this is a pre-paid, piece-of-garbage cell phone I only use for emergencies when out on the road, yet still, it would be nice to get even one bar in and around my home... or my entire neighborhood for that matter. This holds true for several other more high-profile cell providers as well. It's really a disgrace that Chapel Hill of all places has such poor-to-spotty coverage overall.

Verizon - can you hear me now???? Calls are dropped when driving through this area in Raleigh. Very poor reception in our subdivision near this location. Where's our tower?
