I farm near Hannah, ND and I rarely get service. It's pretty frustrating when you need something you need to travel 5 miles just to use the phone. If and when all the planets align and its a full moon I sometimes get service, only from a Canadian tower that charges me big money for being American. Would be open to some solutions for customers up here. Need something.

I bought a sim card for my Nokia phone. It worked well in NY, NJ, and MN, but as I got to Grand Forks it did not work at all, all the way to Petersburg.

How can Alltel keep taking my money and promising service? If I didn't need a cell phone so badly, I would just quit trying to use one.

Very Disappointing not to have service. I understood you could piggyback onto someone elses towers.. AT and T needs to consider this. Thank you.

I live 18 miles south of Hannaford and bought a Verizon phone for my Mother so she had another phone source and could also contact my brother whom also is a Verizon customer, last December. She has had this phone for over 1 year and still has no service unless she drives 10 to 20 miles south of her house. I called a Verizon rep. and discussed the problem and was informed that with the low population of her area they would probably not be putting up any towers there. I am looking for another carrier as I have paid for my Mothers service for more than a year that is non-existent. Our 2 yr contract will soon be up and am looking for another carrier that can cover our needs.

This is a major area for people from all states and cities to come and do hunting.. I think there is a tower in Gackle also. No reception. It just sucks.

Terrible! No reception 5 miles or farther south or southeast of Jamestown. Was slightly better before Cell One became Alltel. Towers are needed south east and south west of Jamestown.

Lots of traffic on this road coming from south dakota enroute to bismarck, nd. Cell service is needed, for buses and school personnel, farmers ranchers etc.

There was absolutely no reception here for GSM, none at all, but a few miles north the Canadian towers (Rogers Wireless) had an okay roaming signal
