Eaton Estate Plan / Troubador intersection, Northfield, OH 44067
Mon Dec 03, 2007
Every winter about this time, I lose all reception when in the Eaton Estate housing development. This is a problem for me, as I LIVE in that plan and so am unable to use my cell phones (family plan with 3 lines) for three months out of the year. I obviously won't be going back when my contract runs out.
Fair to poor connection outside the house and no stable connection inside the house. Never has failed to drop with any cell phone on Verizon's network.

I have had Cingular service for two years now, I get nothing out here, just moved here from Xenia where I got great signal. Contract up in Jan.2008,and I can't wait to find a BETTER service provider, but from what I'm reading, not many even work out here. My son has a BOOST phone,pre-paid, it works wonderful here.
I have to walk outside and stand in my driveway just to get 1 bar. Inside the house... .forget it. Entering the service code for the phone, my rx level shows -106 to -100. Horrible.
The intersection of Eight Mile Rd. and Hopper Rd. in Cincinnati, Ohio (Anderson Township) is a Verizon dead zone. I travel this area quite frequently on my way to work and have called Verizon about this problem multiple times, but nothing is ever done. They won't put a repeater in or strengthen the nearest tower. No plans for a new tower either. I have heard from other people about reception problems in this area. Does anyone else have any problems with Verizon in this area or have suggestions of what I should do? I'm sick of Verizon's lack of service or concern.

5,000 to 10,000 people attend races here most summer weekends. What do they have in common? They all walk around complaining about no cell phone reception!
